Marden High School recently had there first driving course. Three excellent students took part in there first lesson, Phil, Vicky and Ryan.
The reward scheme was the brain child of Head of Year Simon Topping. He wanted to provide something different to spark the imagination of the students. It certainly worked. With an number of areas of school wok improving.
Getting together with Fastpass to provide an Under 17 training course on site. As Phil, Vicky and Ryan drove around the car park, most of the school students and teachers came out at some point to watch. Which was exactly what the Head Teacher wanted. The idea that the students could see what they were missing if they had not qualified this time. However they could do the same course if they raised there game at school.
This just goes to show what an innovative school this is. I look forward to the next course which is taking place next week.
