The Under 17 Club comes to Marden High. Yes the high school in Tynemouth have introduced the Under 17 Club to their students via an incentive scheme.
The school showed how inovative it is by using the driver training as a reward for improving academic performance over the next term. The top 20 students will receive a driving lesson for 2 hours paid for by the school.
The idea was recently introduced at a school assembly, and was well received by a very excited audience.
A number of other schools are considering the idea but Marden have gone for it now.
The first course at Astley high, ended this week, and was a resounding success.
